How Do I Book My L3 Beach Photo Session?
To book your photo session, use the contact form on this site or contact us directly. The nonrefundable $125.00 session fee is due in advance to secure the date of your photo session. Please provide at least a 24 hour notice if you need to reschedule.
What about Weather?
On the day of the shoot, we will communicate and decide to shoot or reschedule due to bad weather. Rescheduled shoots will take priority to new bookings. Please be available on the phone number listed on your profile sheet. Storms pass quickly in Florida, so we can usually hold the date and time. A great source for up-to-date weather is: Weather Forecast
Where Do I Need To Be For My Shoot?
We will determine the actual location during your Pre-shoot consultation. There are so many beaches and awesome locations to choose from on Sanibel, Captiva and the surrounding areas!
When Do I Need To Be There For My Shoot?
We normally shoot in the evenings when the light from the sun setting is soft & pretty. We will need for you to meet us at the beach no later than 7:00 PM. This will give us the time to shoot a wide array of shots. Remember, we are racing against the sun for our perfect shots!
What Should We Wear?
We suggest casual clothes that reflect your personality (ie; if you are laid back, then wear your favorite t-shirt and shorts). We find that dark tops tend to show better in photos versus white tops due to the white of the ocean waves in the background. Keep patterns to a minimum and try to complement the colors in everyone’s outfits (different hues of blue, etc.). You can wear sandals or flip-flops (most likely you’ll be barefoot anyways).
What Should We Bring?
Bring a couple of towels and a change of clothes for kids is always handy as they somehow always manage to get wet and sandy!
Also, I encourage any props you want to use so we can really capture your personality! But we can discuss this further during your pre-shoot consultation.
Due to the time of day for the shoot, I also recommend you bring snacks/drinks for the kiddos and yourself for the drive home.
When Will I Be Able To See My Images?
Within two weeks from your session you will be sent a link and password for access to your private online gallery to view and order prints. The gallery will be available for 60 days. Since they are online, you will be able to share your gallery with family & friends. The payment for your prints is done directly through the gallery website. All prints are sent directly to the buyers address.
